Kayak Trips

Kayaking is a phenomenal way to see wildlife, especially birds. The low profile and quiet nature of kayak travel makes it easier to approach birds and see them up-close. In winter, kayaking provides a way to see waterfowl that spend the winter on lakes in North Georgia. In the spring and summer, kayaking is a great way to see and photograph some of the beautiful songbird species that breed in the forests along the Oconee River, such as the Prothonotary Warbler. I can provide one additional kayak, life jacket, and paddle. Please keep this in mind if signing up multiple people for a trip. See below for locations and rates.
