The Southwest is one of the most bird-diverse regions in North America, and is home to a variety of species with extremely localized ranges. Specifically, central New Mexico exists at the lower range limit of many bird species of the Rocky Mountains, and the upper range limit of many arid desert species, making it an ideal location for birding. I am offering trips to birding hotspots in the Albuquerque, NM area, including Rio Grande Valley State Park, Rio Grande Nature Center, Embudito Trailhead, and Cienega Canyon Picnic Area, and Valle De Oro National Wildlife Refuge.
