Kayak Trips – AVAILABLE starting 7/5/25

Kayaking is an excellent way to see wildlife up-close, especially birds. Sitting in a kayak allows an observer to maintain a low profile and smoother movements, resulting in closer views of birds. In the winter, kayaking provides a way to see waterfowl that spend the winter on lakes in North Georgia. In the spring and summer, kayaking is a great way to see and photograph some of the beautiful warbler species that breed on the forested banks of the Oconee River, such as the stunning Prothonotary Warbler. I can provide one additional kayak, life jacket, and paddle. Please keep this in mind if signing up multiple people for a trip. See below for locations and rates. NOTE: Kayak trips in GA are currently available only during specific times of the year.
